Give
Every dollar stays in the Tri-Cities literary community. Pick the program that resonates, or give where it's needed most.

Author Fund
Your gift underwrites author visits to the Tri-Cities: honoraria, travel, lodging, and the small things that make a good author experience into a great one. $25 gets a visiting author a warm welcome. $500 brings a debut indie author out to read.
Give to the Author FundShelf Life
Every quarter, readers vote on a book by a local or regional author. We buy the winner from a Tri-Cities indie bookstore and place copies in free libraries across the metro. Your $5 vote funds the whole thing. Voting opens quarterly, follow along so you don't miss the next one.
How Shelf Life worksDedication
A $25 gift. Folklore applies a custom label with your name, an optional dedicatee, and a short message. The bottle appears in the bar lineup at the next Folklore event. A small public tribute, a warm way to give.

Folklore also runs on the less-visible work: bar supplies, licensing fees, insurance, venue rentals, and the dozen small things that keep our events running. A gift here lets us put your support wherever it's most useful.
Give to general operationsFolklore Society is a Washington nonprofit corporation pursuing federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Once granted, donations may be tax-deductible retroactive to our date of incorporation. We process all donations through Zeffy, a platform that charges no fees, so 100% of your gift reaches Folklore.
